We’re excited to announce an enhancement to Arlo’s certification capability. You can now automatically send certificates when learners complete courses that include elearning modules, or standalone elearning content.
This extension of the popular Automated Certificates ensures a consistently professional experience for your customers, regardless if they’re attending a live instructor-led session, completing a blended course, or progressing through self-paced elearning.
What’s new?
Arlo’s automated certification now applies across every training format — instructor-led, blended, and self-paced elearning. Certificates are issued automatically once learners meet your chosen completion criteria, giving you full confidence every achievement is recognized and recorded without manual work.
You can now use elearning module or course completion as a trigger for certificate delivery, extending the same automation already available for attendance or payment confirmation in instructor-led courses. This flexibility means you can automate certification across your entire training catalogue, no matter how your courses are delivered.
Choose whether certificates are sent when learners complete all modules within a course, or specific ones, such as a final graded quiz or knowledge check. For multi-module courses, certificates can be issued automatically when learners pass the final assessment, using our Quiz Grading features to verify understanding, retention, and results.
Every certificate is branded to your organization, stored against the learner’s record for future reference, and accessible anytime through your branded Customer Portal, making it super easy to download proof of completion whenever it’s needed.

Once you’ve confirmed your desired certificate criteria, getting started takes just a few clicks:
- Head to the Communications tab for any scheduled course or template.
- Select Certificates.
- Add all (or some) of your elearning modules to launch the automation!
