Secure, global data storage
All data is stored in the cloud with Amazon Web Services (AWS), the world’s leading provider of technical infrastructure. We utilize AWS data centers in United States, Canada, Ireland and Australia – giving you the choice of where your data resides for fast access and preferred legal jurisdiction.
Availability & redundancy
Arlo is a multi-tiered, multi-tenanted application with several production environments. Each environment is hosted in multiple geographically separate data centers. Application servers are load balanced across multiple locations to ensure maximum availability.
Backups & recovery
All customer data is regularly backed up to redundant remote storage. Backups are encrypted with a unique key for each customer. Our server deployments are highly scripted and new servers can be brought up quickly in the event of a disaster.
Monitoring & reporting
All production servers are monitored through the use of best in class SIEM tooling and application availability is monitored from multiple geographic locations.
SSO and SAML supported
You can use single sign-on (SSO) to integrate Arlo with your central directory and authentication solution, giving better control of how your customer data is accessed. SSO also makes it easier for your staff to access Arlo’s management platform (less passwords!) and your customers to access their training.
SAML is a standard single sign-on (SSO) format that’s fully supported by Arlo.
Fully GDPR compliant
Arlo is fully GDPR compliant. Our Master Subscription Agreement contains specific language identifying how we process and control data on your behalf. We maintain a list of the subprocessors who we share your data with.
We actively help our European customers become GDPR compliant. All Arlo registration forms allow you to gather consent and with Arlo you can action your customers’ right to access their personal information.
