Arlo vs Dante

Arlo vs Dante

Dante lets you schedule courses and manage delegates. That’s where it stops.

It can’t deliver virtual training through Zoom or Teams, manage waiting lists, or give trainers a mobile app for rosters and schedules. Learners can’t access their own bookings, there’s no built-in elearning to create recurring revenue, no CRM to track renewals, and no reporting to measure performance.

Arlo gives you all of that, and more, in one platform designed to grow a training business, not just register names.

Dante Stops at the Classroom. Arlo Doesn’t.

Classroom training is still the backbone of most providers. But Dante traps you there. No webinars. No on-demand modules. No blended programmes. Your growth is limited to the number of seats you can fill.

Arlo gives you room to grow:

From a Form to a Sales Engine

Dante gives you an online booking form. Learners can register and pay—that’s all. No upsells. No branded website. No control over the checkout. It’s a process, not a sales tool.

Arlo turns your website into a revenue driver:

A CRM That Drives Revenue, Not Just Records Names

Dante’s CRM is limited. It logs delegates, tracks training history, and produces quotes, but it doesn’t manage renewals, certifications, or long-term customer relationships.

Arlo gives you a true CRM built for training providers:

Fill More Seats and Sell More Training

Dante helps you register delegates, but it does nothing to bring new customers in or keep past ones engaged. No lead capture. No campaigns. No email marketing. No feedback loops. You’re left relying on outside tools and manual effort.

Arlo builds sales and marketing into the platform:

Pricing FAQs

What is an administrator?

An administrator is a person who has access to your Arlo management platform.

Administrator licenses are designed to be limited to one person. If two people attempt to login using a single administrator license (i.e. they use the same username and password), the current person’s access will be disconnected. In addition, sharing licenses prevents you from safely managing and auditing who has access and has edited/changed information (including Personal Information) stored within Arlo.

Note: Not everyone requires an Arlo login, for some people scheduling certain reports to be sent to them, or getting a read-only license will suffice.

Our Enterprise plan includes unlimited ‘read only’ users. This type of user is intended for managers and stakeholders who only need to view information. Read only users can view all screens, export data and run reports, but cannot create and update records.

Arlo’s registration fees are charged at different rates depending on if the event or course you offer is free for your clients to attend/complete or whether they are required to pay. We determine if the event or course registration is classified as a ‘paid’ when it has an order (invoice) associated with it. If a registration does not have an order (invoice) associated with it, it is classified as ‘free’. Registrations on private events/courses are classified as ‘free’.

Yes, if you choose to pay annually, your price will include a 15-20% discount off administrator licenses and registration usage.

Arlo’s annual pricing option is based on the estimated number of ‘free’ and ‘paid’ registrations received per year. The annual period for registrations starts from the first billing date. If you exceed the annual number of registrations you estimated for either ‘Free’ or ‘Paid’, the additional registrations (overage) will be charged at Arlo’s standard Pay-as-you-go rate.

Usage is based on the number of registrations you receive. If a registration is cancelled within 30 days, a registration credit will be applied to your account, i.e. you will not be charged for the cancelled registration.

Our administrator license pricing is tiered, so the more you need, the cheaper it gets.

In most cases, 14 days should be long enough to evaluate whether Arlo is right for your organization. If you need a little more time then we can extend your trial, or if you are ready to purchase, then we can help with that too! Either way, please email us at sales@arlo.co.

Note that any data loaded into your trial platform will be deleted six days after your trial expires and cannot be recovered.

No, you do not have to sign a long-term contract. We offer a Pay-as-you-go option for those wanting to pay monthly for what they use. There are significant discounts for paying annually, up-front however.

Yes, on Pay-as-you-go plans you can switch plans at anytime and your monthly fee will be updated accordingly.

On our Annual payment plan, you can upgrade your plan at any time and will be charged the prorated amount based on the time remaining in your current contract. However, you cannot change to a lower plan during the term of your contract.

To discuss your options, get in touch with your account manager, or email sales@arlo.co.

Yes, on Pay-as-you-go plans you increase or decrease the number of administrator licenses you are paying for at any time and your monthly fee will be updated accordingly.

On our Annual payment plan, you can add additional administrator licenses at any time and will be charged the prorated amount based on the time remaining in your current contract. However, you cannot reduce the number of licenses during the term of your contract.

To discuss your options, get in touch with your account manager, or email sales@arlo.co.

Yes, you definitely can. We find a majority of our customers end up adding more users and registrations as Arlo helps you to sell more training.

If you have paid annually for the ‘fixed annual price’ this is non-refundable as you receive an upfront payment discount. If you are paying as-you-go please provide us with 30 days notice in writing that you wish to cancel. A final invoice for any additional outstanding registrations will be sent in the next month. Note that annual, fixed term contacts, automatically rollover at the end of the contract period unless a cancellation notice has been sent 30 days prior to the contract end date..
