Wintec is one of New Zealand’s leading ITPs and we, for a number of years, many years, have been here in the Waikato providing education. In the modern world education needs are changing and they’re different. Wintec is strongly committed to working on partnerships with industry, with employers and with the community. And we need to keep adapting what we do so that it is current with the changing workforce.
The professional programmes are part of us providing new offerings that suit the industry and help us to grow the Waikato economy and the Waikato community. IO had to look at technology and make choices. There seem to be a million kinds of technology options out there. We need to make sure it integrates with what we already have. We need to make sure we have an enterprise-wide system. And so making that technology choice, it’s significant.
Wintec has been around for many years in the training space. And in order for Wintec to stay current and meet the needs of industry and be very agile and responsive, a programme just like Arlo has been really helpful. It’s helped us to just be agile, it’s helped us with our interactions with industry, and tracking who’s done what courses.
As a registrant, the most important elements from their perspective would be able to register and pay really easily. So by using Arlo for that, it;’s integrated into the website, and it can be used on any device.
